Today’s press conference down at UW saw Coach Romar announce the starters for the exhibition game. Though he named Venoy Overton, Isaiah Thomas, Quincy Pondexter, Darnell Gant, and Matthew Bryan-Amaning, he warned that “It isn’t set in stone”. In the video of the press conference he said that Venoy Overton “Looks more consistent this year”. He has said on numerous occasions this off-season that when it comes to Thomas, Overton and Gaddy, he considers them all starters and whoever comes off the bench will contribute significant playing time.
